Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
We believe that the Bible, in its original text, is without fault. We believe that the Bible is the never changing Word of God.
We believe that through the Bible, God has revealed the truth that mankind should know regarding God, salvation, and Christian living.
Therefore, we believe that the Bible is the foundation and the ultimate authority of the Christian faith. Isaiah 40:8, Psalm 119:9, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Peter 2:21
God
(A) THE TRIUNE GOD
We believe that there is One and only living and true God.
We believe that He is the God who created the universe, and reigns over it with providential care.
We believe that God is everlasting, never changing God.
We believe that God is the Almighty God, the Holy God, the Righteous God, and the God of love.
We believe that God is the Triune God, that is, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1-2, Isaiah 6:3, 40:28, 44:6, Matthew 28:19, Luke 1:37, John 10:30, 1 John 4:8, 4:16, Revelation 1:8, 4:11
(B) JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Christ is the One and Only Son of the Almighty God.
We believe that, in His incarnation, Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
We believe that Christ lived a sinless life on earth, and by obeying the will of God, He died on the cross for the redemption of all men from sin.
We believe that, three days after His death, Christ was raised from the dead, ascended to heaven, and is now exalted at the right hand of God the Father where He intercedes for us continuously as the Mediator.
Matthew 1:20-23, 3:17, John 10:30, 1 Corinthians 15:3-5, Philippians 2:6-8, Hebrews 7:24-25, 9:12-15, 1 John 2:1-2
(C) THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is one of the Triune God, the Spirit of God. We believe that the Holy Spirit will guide people to salvation and is given to all believers as a “seal.”
We believe that the Holy Spirit will do the following work: Point out believers’ sins Remind the believers of the Scripture Guide the believers Fill the believers Give spiritual gifts Help believers to grow and transform them into the likeness of Christ.
Genesis 1:2, Matthew 3:16, John 14:26, 15:26, 16:8, Romans 8:14, 1 Corinthians 6:19, 12:3, 4-7, 2 Corinthians 1:22, 3:18, Galatians 5:25, Ephesians 1:13, 5:13
Man
We believe that all people are the special creation of God, created in His own image.
We believe that man was originally sinless and was in a loving relationship with God.
We believe that man sinned against God by choosing his own desire over God.
We believe that all men are born as sinners and therefore are under God’s wrath and judgment.
We believe that because of their sins all men are in need of salvation.
We believe that God loves all men and wants all men to be saved.
We believe that in spite of their sins, men can be saved and be restored in a loving relationship with God by Christ’s redemptive act, which is the cross.
Genesis 1-3, Psalm 22:10, 139:13, Isaiah 43:4, John 3:16, Romans 3:23, 8:38-39, Ephesians 2:1-10, 1 Timothy 2:4
Salvation
We believe that we can be saved only by believing in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
We believe that Jesus died on the cross as the atonement of our sins.
We believe that all our sins are forgiven by the blood Jesus has shed on the cross.
We believe that we are saved not by our deeds but by grace through faith.
We believe that the moment we believe in Jesus Christ, we died to sin and are born again as God’s children.
We believe that those who believe in Christ will have eternal life and inherit the Kingdom of God.
John 1:12, 3:16, Acts 16:31, Romans 3:24, 28, 6:4-8, 22-23, Galatians 2:16, Ephesians 1:10-11, 2:8, Hebrews 9:14, 1 John 1:7
Christian Life
(A) FAITH
We believe that faith is to love God, trust God, and obey God as our response to the love of the Father who gave up His One and Only Son for us and to the love of the Son who gave up His own life for us.
We believe that faith is to say YES and obey the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that faith is to believe in everything about God.
We believe that our faith is something that determines our deeds.
Matthew 12:31, Mark 11:22, John 14:15, Galatians 5:16-26, Hebrews 11:1-40, 12:2-3, James 2:14-26, 1 John 4:7-21
(B) MISSION OF ALL CHRISTIANS
We believe that all Christians’ mission is to become Christ’s disciples. Christ’s disciples are those who believe in Christ, are baptized, obey Him and keep growing in Him.
We believe that all Christians’ mission is to make Christ’s disciples. Disciple-making involves evangelizing, baptizing, teaching to obey Christ, and helping to grow in Christ.
We believe that all Christians’ mission is to show the difference in the world in positive manners – as the light of the world, as the salt of the earth, the fragrance of Christ, etc.).
Matthew 5:13-14, 13:23, 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, 2 Corinthians 2:15, Ephesians 2:10, 4:13-15, 5:1-11
(C) CHURCH
We believe that the church is a community of people who believe in and follow Jesus Christ.
We believe that the mission of the church is to make disciples and nurture them.
We believe that since Christ is the head of the church, the purpose of the church is to do His will.
We believe that the church is the central place of the Christian life (worship, evangelism, ministry, fellowship, discipleship) and the growth of each Christian.
We believe that the church will grow as the members use their gifts to function and joined together in love.
Matthew 16:18, 28:19-20, Acts 2:41-47, 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, 12:12-27, Ephesians 1:23, 4:16
(D) BAPTISM
We believe that a baptism is an act of righteousness.
We believe that it was Jesus’ command to be baptized.
We believe that baptism does not save people. Instead, it is a public confession of faith of those who accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and the Lord.
We believe that baptism symbolizes what happened to the believer spiritually – died in sin and born again in Christ.
We believe that accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior and being baptized should be one inclusive act rather than two separate acts.
Matthew 3:15, 28:19-20, Acts 8:12-13, 36-38, 9:18, 16:31-33, Romans 6:4-8, 1 Peter 3:21
(E) COMMUNION
We believe that Communion was Jesus’ command to “Do this in remembrance of me.”
We believe that the bread symbolizes the torn body of Christ, and the cup symbolizes the blood of Jesus that was shed for the forgiveness of our sins.
We believe that partaking of the bread and the cup is an act of faith for all who believe in Jesus Christ to remember the love of God.
We believe that those who partake in Communion will turn back to God’s love and are sent out to the world to proclaim His love.
Matthew 26:26-29, Mark 14:22-25, Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-28
(F) SPIRITUAL GIFTS
We believe that according to His plan for each believer, God gives various spiritual gifts to all believers through the Holy Spirit.
We believe that believers must manage and use the gifts to serve God and man, and to glorify God.
Romans 12:3-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, 1 Peter 4:10

Gift of Tongues
We believe that ‘speaking in tongues’ is one of the spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirit. However, this gift is not necessarily given to all believers.
We believe that the gift of tongues is not better than other gifts, nor it is less than other gifts.
We believe that the gift of tongues will bring God’s blessing upon who speaks to God personally.
We believe that when the gift of tongues is used in public, an interpreter must be present.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 14:1-40
Healing
We believe that God has the power to heal any sickness.
We believe that God will heal our sickness in His time and by His way, according to His perfect plan instead of healing us according to our faith in terms of timing and means.
We believe that even in the midst of sickness, God will treat us with love and mercy, and work for our good.
Matthew 8:1-13, 9:27-31, Romans 8:28, 1 John 5:14
